Suitable riding attire must be worn – suitable riding shoes with small heel, long riding pants, shirt (covered shoulders) and approved helmet.
Suitable equipment for your horse – horse and equipment in good, functional condition.
Australia standard Helmets must be worn and be less than 5 years old from date of manufacture as no manufacturer will guarantee integrity of the product after this time. Helmets should show AS/NZS 3838 standard onwards, provided they are SAI global marked.
If you do not have a helmet less than 5 years old, you will need to wear one of ours. Only 1 spare available per ride. No suitable helmet, no riding – this is required by our Industry codes
You will need to show you have good control of your horse at different paces, prior to the ride departing. This is an obligation we have to check under the Adventure Activity Standards for Trail Riding. Your safety matters to us.
Horses should be shod or wear boots as the terrain can be rocky in parts but this is up to you as horse owner.
Please bring water and feed for your horse. We value the pristine nature of our local environment so parking area must be left free from rubbish or waste.
Riding is a dangerous activity and you undertake this at your own risk. Waiver forms must be completed prior to riding.
All participating riders must listen and follow the guides' instructions at all times. Should the guides feel riders are acting in an unsafe manner, or if the riders fail to follow instructions, we have the right to end the ride immediately or have you leave the group.
Any rider found in breach of our terms and conditions may face refusal to participate and will not be granted a refund or credit.
If we need to cancel a ride due to adverse weather conditions, the ride can be rescheduled to another date or you can receive a refund. In the event we have to cancel a ride, due to weather or unforeseen event, you will be notified by text and telephone call.
Rides will go ahead in drizzle or light rain. Only if dangerous conditions are forecast or tracks are too wet, will the rides be canceled.
If you cancel more than 7 days from the ride date, a refund is available (less the 4% card and site processing fee ).
If you cancel less than 7 days out, no refund is possible, but the entire group ride can be rescheduled for another date.
If a rider has to drop out at the last minute (Due to illness or an issue with their horse, it happens – we’re horse owners too!), they can replace themselves with another person or a credit will be issued for them for use on a future ride. This only applies if there is still a minimum of 4 riders remaining to go on the ride.If the cancelation reduces the rider numbers to less than 4, no credit is issued. “No shows” will not receive a refund or credit.
